I have added a new form on the website. It is for any dancer who might be interested in the company. Please click on the site and click RDC Interest Form. Also, some pages have been divided up. Still, more work needs to be done - with the holidays around .... delays have happened.

Hiring Assistant Director

Assistant Director

RDC is in need of an Assistant Director who can assist with rehearsals, set choreography, teach class, as well as other duties.

Duties included are:
~set choreography - full dances or add on
~teach class -ballet, jazz, modern {may vary}
~director duties - contacting dancers, assisting w/flyers {printing or creating}, distribution
~assisting at auditions
~must be available for rehearsals w/ the AD to learn choreography

Strong background in ballet and jazz; contemporary, lyrical, and pointe is a plus
A letter of intent explaining why you are applying for this position

Work/school schedule is needed, when applying

RDC Ensemble Information/Auditions

RDC's newest goal for 2011, RDC II, a second company. Dancers will be groomed for the professional company; but are aged 13-18. They will learn choreography that has made the company recognizable. They will also learn new pieces that are age appropriate.

In addition, they will take classes in ballet and jazz.

Performances will be with the professional company, Trainee Program, as well, there own independent concert.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Rehearsals will commence twice per week.
Monthly fee is $350.00
Rehearsals/classes: Fri. 4-7P and Sat. 1-4P

Please bring all shoes, dress in dance attire, a prepare a short piece of what you hope to accomplish by joining RDC II.

What you will learn as a company member:
Dancers will learn the following during their time as a company member---
~Ballet tech
~Jazz tech
~Stage performance
~Choreography

Proper authorization?

Is this infringement upon the business's image, portrayal of being employed with said company, or is it legalities of using a photo without authorization? It is using unauthorized photos. Meaning the individual does not have permission from Resurrection Dance Company; RDC {shall be known as RDC} to use the photo. See the pictures here.
The person in the photos can have damage done to their reputation as a professional, thus making it very challenging to achieve work in the chosen field. Employers who would consider hiring said individual might have a problem with ethical behaviour; also gaining trust, and upholding privacy issues of business's {using a photo without consent}.
{As you can see, the above picture is affiliated with RDC and Wenda L. Koon. Yet, here is someone else pictured in the same outfit.}

For reference, when a person signs a document stating that a business owns property of potential employees; that means you no longer own that picture, video, ectera. The only way around this is if the business gives you permission.

RDC II Auditions
Saturday; January 15, 2011
2-4 PM
$20.00 Audition fee

Rehearsals will commence once per week.
Monthly fee is $200.00
Rehearsals are held on Saturdays @ 2-4PM } times may vary an hour before/after}
